Kathleen Botsford is an Artist and independent thinker based in Chicago.

As a wife, mother, artist, jewelry designer, workshop facilitator, and writer, my life is a testament to the belief that creativity and spirituality are inextricably linked.

An obsessive bibliophile, my interests span art, history, and the spiritual traditions of the world, always seeking the intersection where everyday spirituality meets the ancient wisdom of mystics and contemporary light bearers. My devotion to the Divine Feminine in all Her incarnations guides my hand and heart.

My journey has been one of deep spiritual exploration, where the mystical threads of the world's religions and ancient mystery schools weave through the fabric of my daily life. As a devoted student of the universe's hidden languages, I have been blessed to study under the guidance of our era's spiritual luminaries, delving into the realms of Sacred Archetypes, Sacred Activism, Sacred Geometry, Energy Medicine, the Divine Feminine, and Crystal Healing and much more. My path has led me to become not only a Reiki practitioner but also a SoulCollage® facilitator, while also developing my own unique form of art journaling that marries these spiritual and archetypal studies with a creative outlet for emotional expression and soulful navigation through our individual life's expression.

My art, an alchemy of abstract and mixed media, is born from intuition, intention, and ritual—a meditative dance with canvas and paint, where ephemera collected  around the world find their place intimately woven with discarded bits of ordinary days. These creations are windows to my soul, capturing the essence of nature's quiet moments, the vibrancy of societal discourse, and the beauty of everyday life as well as always relevant historical themes

Before embracing the fullness of my artistic spirit, I navigated the corporate sales world, living under the illusion of a creativity-less existence. The birth of my children awakened a wellspring of innovation within me, transforming our family traditions and eventually leading me to share my gifts beyond the confines of home. My jewelry designs, rooted in the ancient tradition of carrying crystals and stones for healing and medicine, are crafted with sacred prayer, music, incense, and ritual, drawing on the energy and guidance of each element to inspire and heal. The artifacts and beads have been gathered from all across the world.

My creations have graced the shelves of prestigious stores including Saks Fifth Avenue, Marshall Fields and Neiman Marcus and have been celebrated in the vibrant fashion scene of Chicago, earning accolades and features in esteemed venues and shows. As one of Chicago's most exciting new accessory designers, my work not only adorns the body but also touches the soul, carrying forward the ancient tradition of healing art.
